Sumarul concursului

The contest is to provide a number of interpretive sketches of our new motel project. The motel is to be located on the most prominent corners of Iluka Village, NSW, Australia. Sketches should interpret a modern clean look with a tiled Balinese or Polynesian roof design. Consider the “Ground Floor Plan" "Plan of Social Spaces" and others (supplied). Visit the site via Google, the corner of Owen and Spenser Streets and introduce your own unique architectural element onto this corner. Maybe a Polynesian style Bar, to service the restaurant (as shown). You have the freedom to shift the various elements such as bar, pool, cabanas, seating, etc. around. Sketches may be by any medium using either, simple freehand drawings or computer generated and rendered images or both. You may also visit and submit to our Freelancer search for architectural support. Success here will also put you in a strong position to be chosen for subsequent drafting and design work for our Surf & Yoga Resort project.

This contest submission should include:
2. Two sketches from of the corner of Owen and Spenser streets, one being birds-eye view which indicates external buildings and rooftops and one street level view.
3. One sketch of the hotel, focusing on the entrance and showing overhanging footpath roof and outdoor eating areas. Eating area may be extended onto the footpath.
4. One internal view from restaurant across pool to restaurant, landscape indicating seating cabanas around the street-front perimeter.

“The task was to interpret thumbnail sketches and random pictures of our resort concept. Farhan's artistic interpretations went beyond our expectation. We had numerous complaints from contestants about the contest time (1 week) being too short, this didn't bother Farhan, he got on with the job and appears to have thoroughly enjoyed himself in the process. He delivered on time, updated his work based on our comments and communicated perfectly. We will be contacting him again. ”

    I'm interested and i've been sketching some ideas, but I haven't found the exact dimensions of the property in order to be as accurate as possible. where can I find them?

      The size of the site is 40m along Spenser St and 50m along Owen St.

    I've had a number of requests for more time. Reminds me of art college, no-one was ever finished. It's the nature of an artist! Incomplete work with merit may be given an opportunity to complete after submission. Sorry, but I can't extend the time that would be unfair on those who have been working hard to meet the deadline. Your work does not need to be sealed because as an artist your work is protected by copyright naturally. Besides I'm sure you would all like to see competitors work results. Good Luck
