Hi, we are looking for a logo and some images for the website for a company called Lightning Oak.

The company will be a mountain bike repair shop, bike shop, trail centre and B&B. Lightning Oak represent 'fast and strong'. The name comes from our Son's name, Thorsten, meaning Thor's Stone/Hammer. Thor was said to be the god of many things, but lightning and oak trees were mentioned on one website I looked at and it stuck.

The logo needs to be simple enough to work as a black and white stencil that can be stamped and branded into wooden features. We'd like some more detailed and coloured versions that can be used for different purposes like signage and stickers.

I like the idea of lightning striking an oak tree and them being almost mirror images of themselves, the lightnings forks vs the oaks branches. My partner feels they should be shown separately so as to avoid an association with destruction from the lightning (as in the .webp image attached).

The B&W silhouette logo should be encompassed by a circle/square/triangle

Hi, I have now upgraded this to #sealed and reviewed nearly every entry now. There's a long time to run, but generic ideas are going to be rejected pretty quickly from now on as there are obviously some people who have put real thought into the brief and come up with great original work. It's not just me judging now, but my wife and Son, Thor, now ;)
