Hello, welcome to a most exciting contest. Bring your enthusiasm, tell your friends, and bring a few hats, as you might want to try on different perspectives and rolls as you write several entries for this mashup-blog contest!

Rewards:
1st: $120 dollars, 2nd: $60, and 3rd: $20.

***BONUS: For every 30 unique entrants with a proper Infomashup blog post entry, the payout for the contest will increase by $50.
(upto a limit of $150 for first, $75 for second, and $25 for third ).

See your score and placement in a leaderboard updated every 5 minutes, and especially designed for this contest ( https://infomashup.com/contests/?contest=C200830 ) as you write your entry (at Infomashup.com ). Scoring is based firstly on presentation quality, diversity of media sourced, and style, this is automated scoring. Secondly, a custom scoring is based on comprehensibility, connection, flow, and creativity. And thirdly, there is a BONUS score that is assigned depending on the difficulty of the topic you choose.

Interesting topics to choose from if you are a writer, a journalist, a blog creator, or an internet researcher, a fiction author, a daily activity blogger, or a conspiracy investigator.

Select a topic,
Compile some notes about the core aspects of the topic.
Anypage Chrome extension allows for easy content collection, quotes, images, and youtube video clips.
Drop the notes you collect into a mashup blog at Infomashup.com ( VERY EASY )
Complete the mashup-blog entry.

5 topics to choose from:

Fictional Story :
Write a Fiction or Nonfiction story connecting 10 - 15 notes. Add images to help set the setting.

A Day in the Life :
Mashup photos, video, and some text about a day in the life of you, or someone you know, real or imagined.

My Activity :
An activity you are focussed on will be the theme of this mashup. Imagines, some text explanation, instructions, maybe a recipe.

Conspiracy "Theory" :
A conspiracy, or trail of suspected deception or crime will be the theme of this mashup. Remember to use sources, screen captures, and video, while connecting the dots for your readers to examine.

All Things are Connected :
Starting with two notes of seemingly dissociated things, draw out a path with 5 more notes that connects them. A thread stretching between, showing an example of how "all things are (truely) connected". Use, images, video, and text as well.

Other :
As usual you can choose your own content or theme to explore in this contest. Just note, you only get a bonus if you mashup about one of the other themes.

Okay, the scores are locked in, and they are positively exciting. You can see the winners here:

I don't think there are any "last minute" changes to the standings, but the race for 3rd and 4th place was a toe curler.

As always, I am reserving the right to offer to purchase some mashup entries out of the top 3.
And everyone will get paid by Sunday evening at the latest.

I highly recommend reading the top 5 entries. They are top level really.

Thank you guys so much for the entries, the efforts, and I hope your experiences were a bit better than the time before. And next time in an all new and original contest, I will aim to have things a bit better again.

  I am aware of the issue. There was no hack, but rather some accounts spent very much time to down vote many competitors. This will not affect the final outcome, but will take me some time to deal with.
