UPDATE 3: It does not have to be Japanese. I think this is too restrictive because the quality of entries is not what I was expecting. Come up with an original design that is aesthetically pleasing and FUNCTIONAL. Look at Persol Sunglasses’ Hinge for inspiration for both functionality and aesthetics. Thank you?

UPDATE 2: Please upload your design on the model I have uploaded as a reference. In place of the Hinge Design I have currently. Please don't upload a plain design that isn't placed on the sunglasses. These will be disregarded.

UPDATE: Please check the reference, the hinge (the Gold Ankh/Egyptian Key of Life) I currently have is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. The Japanese replacement should be similar to that. So Japanese words/phrases won’t be good enough.

I want someone creative to come up with a design that I can use in place of this Egyptian Key of Life. Look at the reference, this is the current design. Draw up your own creation in place of that gold design I have currently.

I want it to represent Japanese Culture, therefore the design should have some meaning behind it (Please explain the meaning behind your chosen design) while simultaneously being aesthetically pleasing and retaining its essential functionality as a hinge for Sunglasses.
