Sumarul concursului

I have a logo (attached) and need to have some icons designed that will be large tabs to be clicked on to show the services our consultancy provides. They need to make the user feel that ICON represents the service we provide and also reflects the same style and colour of the logo. I want the circles around the logo to be around these icons.

The service bars are:

ADVISORY: here we provide our clients with strategic and legal advice

COMPLIANCE: Here we are going to help business insure they are compliant with various laws. i want a tick in a rosette

DUE DILIGENCE: This tab is about us being asked to resolve an issue for our clients and us going out to ask as many questions of all stakeholders to work out what is going on. I want a jigsaw shape

STAKEHOLDER DIALOGUE : Here we are offering the service of being able to either represent our clients ideas out to their stakeholders, e.g. before they undertake a new development in an area, to get the views of the local population. We would run a stakeholder dialogue and canvass the views of all relevant people. This is about facilitating a meeting, negotiating with people, getting consensus, mediating.

PROGRAMMING: Here the service we provide for aid organisations is to design, implement and manage programmes in countries on the issues we work on. This is not about computer programming. it is about implementing aid projects in poor countries.

RESEARCH/INNOVATION: This icon needs to get across both that we can research any idea the client wants us to, and that we are good at innovating, coming up with new solutions to problems.

TRAINING/CAPACITY BUILDING - services here range from training courses to providing executive coaches for clients in order to help them do a better job. This cannot just be about a training day with a man and a flip chart. nor a mortar board as that implies higher education

      I wouldn't advise putting more than three people inside the icon. Icons should convey the idea, but in a simple way. The more cluttered an icon becomes, the more harsh it is on the viewer's eye. You don't want the icon to lose effectiveness.

    for due diligence, i need you to come up with something that gives the impression we have gone out to talk to everyone in the business to work out what exactly is happen. it needs to show thoroughness of having canvassed everyone's opinion, not a checklist. i would like the outline of a jigsaw - about 4-5 pieces coming together

      I totally take your point adrizing - I'm sorry - I'm not sure what do as I like various aspects in the variety of entries but could not award the context to any one because not all the icons in any entry work for me. Please feel free to pull out and definitely only design what you wish. thanks for your feedback, i'm grateful

    on programming I have not explained this at all well as you have all thought about computer programming. what i am talking about is when a donor, for example, USAID, or DIFD or the EU gives money to a less advantage country for an NGO or consultant like ourselves to do something (we call that something a programme) of good in the country. It might be setting up mobile courts in the country side in India so people have access to justice. It might be vaccinating lots of children so they don't get x y z disease . What we need to convey is somehow us doing an activity that will help those we are doing it for. tricky

    on training I'm stumped as I do not want it to be a man in a suit with a screen behind him. I do not want it to be either man or woman. I also don't like the mortar board idea as our training does not require higher education which can seem a bit off putting.
