Rezumat concurs

Looking for a new logo that I can use on various merch (shirts, hats, stubbie holders etc) for family reunions, holidays etc. Is not for business use.
Previous logo is attached, but is dated and would like a revamp to be more stylish.
"Banana Brothers" is the name of the company, with "Established 1979' or 'est 1979" as optional wording to include.
Would like inclusion of some reference to a pig, but can be subtle.
Would like some reference or suggestion of drinking beer or brewing beer (ie hops, barley etc) if possible.
I don't want reference to banana's (outside the name).
Would like to draw inspiration either from either team sporting logos or from some newer craft breweries.
Colour scheme is navy blue and gold (preferably can be applies in black and white as well).
Hope this enough info
