We are in the design and planning process of a new concept for a leisure and entertainment destination, the EPIC Adventures Resort. The parent company "EPIC Resorts Group" is a new business entity with a highly experienced team that needs to be branded with a corporate identity package, including the design of a logo, letterhead, business cards, email signatures, websites, and other branding materials. This contest is for the corporate identity package for the EPIC Resorts Group, however, we chose the freelancer.com contest platform in an effort to recruit and hire creative talent for potential use on a substantial amount of upcoming projects. So WOW us with your logo, and there will be more work to follow!

NOTE: The material provided is for the Epic Adventures Resort, because the brand and logo established for the EPIC Resorts Group should reflect the character of the product it represents.

Below is the overview of our project:

EPIC Adventures Resort at Kingsland, Ga. introduces to America a destination that goes beyond the average amusement or theme park. Instead, this fully-integrated leisure resort makes it a multigenerational destination that promotes the great outdoors, adventure and a healthy lifestyle for children, families, young adults and active adults. Covering nearly 500 acres and connected to miles of ocean and river systems, EPIC Adventures Resort's unique offering of land, ocean, river and themed entertainment activities, in addition to superior location and a compatible climate, challenges the concept of traditional themed and adventure parks that are often plagued by ordinariness, lack of creativity and a shortage of activities suitable for all age groups. Boasting a collection of the most successful attractions in the amusement and themed entertainment industry and a bevy of other unique activities, combined with a variety of overnight accommodations, EPIC Adventures Resort is a comprehensive lifestyle resort featuring a fresh and thematic approach that caters not only to the young children audience, but to the active adults and baby boomers who seek ways to create their own unique leisure experiences.

The size, scale, location and uniqueness of EPIC Adventures Resort will position it as a local and regional vacation spot, and will have the allure to capture the attention of national and international travelers as a new destination alternative to other vacation spots such as Orlando, Fla., one of the most successful year-round tourist destinations in the country.

EPIC Adventures Resort is envisioned as a multi-themed resort destination that will create an extraordinary leisure-time experience for all of its visitors. It is a one-of-a-kind resort experience that fully integrates all venues, activities and facilities to create a unique "sense of place" for its guests.

    the submitted work is only as good as the communication you will get out what you put in, otherwise there is a likely hood you will be wondering why the designs submitted aren't what you were looking for. The reason they aren't what your looking for is that without information and discussion you will have people thrusting in a lot of irrelevant directions in the dark. if you want to get what you have paid for you need to

    provide timely and constructive feedback

    provide examples of existing branding that you admire aesthetically or in terms of tone or voice

    Without taking these points on board the is a high probability your branding will be confused or generic and not really fit for purpose or you can continue to hope that a fish will just happen to jump on you hook.

      he things that make epic unique in comparison to the competition in Florida such as Disney land or Universal studios you offer a safe lush green environment you offer good clean American fun. However you dont have a 5 ft mouse that children adore or Harry Potter so you will likely lose out to families with young children even if that family is multi generational they will put up with fake plastic streets and expensive fried foods just to enjoy the look on that child's face when they meet goofy or pretend to be Harry.

      So the likely hood is you will lose out to the major competition for any audience with a child below the age of 11 but there is a whole host of families with children 12 and up who don't want to pose for photos with Micky or be with there parents every second of the day but would love to spend the vacation nest too a beautiful lake or rafting with friends or playing baseball with a few dads and kids there age or enjoying the water park, that group of slightly older families are your core demographic, if you try to appeal to everyone you will most likely have a branding that is appealing to no one and by appealing to slightly older families younger children will also want to spend the summers at Epic, young kids are desperate to do the the thing there older cousins or older neighbours or school friends do.

      Would like to see more energy in the mark - needs to be more dynamic and translate into entertainment, fun, give the impression of movement, state of the art - appeal to all age groups - people need to want to wear it on clothing or hats, etc.
