Sumarul concursului

We are start-up, named Valens DataLabs. We need a logo with brand-ability. It will be used on Company banner, visiting/business cards, letter head, advertisements (online and offline both), t-shirts, notepads and what not. It will be used on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and most other social media websites so keep that also in mind while designing.

Guidelines to be followed:
- It should be clean.
- The logo and text should be able to fit in a square shape. If the overall content of the logo and the text becomes too rectangular, it does not fit the criteria.
- Flat style is in trend but we are looking for timeless design rather than trends.
- We are specifically not disclosing industry as we want a logo for the name of the company and not for the industry.
- You should design black and white logo first and later on add color to it. And we need to have both variations.
- Design should work at a minimum of around one inch without loss of detail, also specify minimum size that can be used with logo.
- No need to say it has to be original, we will consider only original artwork for the finalist.
- Also provide your thought behind the art work.

Deliverable:
- Vector file.
- Should submit both Black & white and Colored one (single color).
- All source file will be ours and cannot be sold to anyone else.
- Clearly mention font details, size, type, line height, spacing before and after, colors, headline versus body font.
- Specify each color you used in CMYK, RGB and HEX.

On a side note, we like Skype branding a lot but take how they did not what they did.
