Sumarul concursului

We need some icons for the "about us" page of our web site. Their meaning should be:

• Basic data (like adress, registration number, bank etc.)
• Activities
• Life at our company (photo galery)
• Trade Shows & Events
• Facts & Figures
• Our partners
• Documents to download

Our basic idea as a sample can be seen on the enclosed screenshot. I have attached another screenshot, to let see, how are the other pages where photos are used. Typical icon size will be 395×195 pixel, winner will have to deliver the icons in a vector graphic format.

The grey frames around the graphics seen on the enclosed screenshot is made "automatically" by the design of the website (defined in CSS).

We are a company dealing with industrial automation, company colours are:
Orange: Pantone 1495C, web FF9133
Dark grey: Pantone 431C, web 5E6A71
Grey: Pantone 429C, web A5ACAF

Please, in order to be comparable, present the icons with the frames as seen on my example, while the winner will have to deliver the files without the frames. The frame is part of our web desing, will be applied "automatically" by the CSS code.

Hi, benefit of vectors is of course to be able to resize them if it would become required. As icons are usually made with vector based softwares, that should not be a a problem.

Hi, would it be acceptable to submit icon designs in the required resolution but as .png images, rather than vector? I can't really understand the benefit of using vectors for icons. Many thanks, e-w.

  Any color should be ok, backgrounds should however be white, because product photos on the other pages do also have white backgrouds. I have attached another screenshot to let you see.
