I have extensive experience in net zero strategies, climate risk assessments and resilience plans, and decarbonization strategies across a range of sectors including finance, energy, resources, manufacturing, and infrastructure. I have advised clients on greenhouse gas inventory, accounting, and public disclosures, including TCFD, GRI, and CDP reporting. Between 2015 and 2023, I led several climate change adaptation and transition plans for large infrastructure projects in Australia and India including Airports, Ports, Rail, Road and Tunnel, and Precincts, and assisted these projects with the development of environmental and sustainability management plans. I have been on several advisory committees including the Global Reporting Initiative Sustainability Reporting Standards, the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, the Environmental Institute Australia and New Zealand, the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), and the Queensland Association of Mining and Exploration. Recent projects — Led a study for a large utility company assisting them in gaining an understanding of various ESG frameworks different investors use to assess ESG performance and risks associated with the investment — Undertook ESG due diligence on behalf of a multinational Asset Management Company and provided inputs to their ESG risk assessment framework — Developed ESG strategy for large utility companies and sport complexes (showgrounds) in Australia and educating state utility boards on their role in ESG — Developed a range of tools to assess materiality, gap assessment against IFRS sustainability standards, and a range of tools to estimate GHG emissions and undertake climate change risk assessment aligned to AS 5334 and ISO 31000 standards — Led a policy advisory project looking into Fossil Methane emission reduction policies, the report was released in the Parliament. — Led a project for the State Government which included a study on the costs and benefits of biofuels in five industry sectors – Aviation, Marine, Heavy Industry, Transport, and Agriculture mai puțin
