Experienced in Linux systems administration, networking, security, and privacy, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every task. I am currently deepening my knowledge of Rust programming with "Leptos", a modern web framework that uses WebAssembly. Leptos enables the development of dynamic web applications with fine-grained reactivity. In addition, I am working with "Bevy", a powerful game engine based on the Entity Component System (ECS). Bevy is suitable for interactive and multimedia applications, as well as simulations that build on Rust's operational safety and performance. My vocational journey began in the early 2000s, working with 3D virtual worlds based on "Active Worlds" (a predecessor to "Second Life"). Since then, I've mastered setting up computer networks, supporting Windows laptops, and delving into WordPress plugin development to customize functionality and user experience. Proficient in various Linux distributions (Manjaro, Gentoo, DEB- & RPM-based), I do server and VPS administration, as well as software customization. I'm interested in leveraging the potential of microcontrollers and single board computers, like the Raspberry Pi, for embedded projects such as smart home systems and IoT applications. My expertise extends from Rust to C, Python, Web technology and SQL-based databases, alongside software testing, and graphic design. I prioritize user experience (UX), crafting intuitive designs (UI), and conducting meticulous testing to ensure reliable software. You want graphic design created with Open Source software? Don't hesitate to ask, as I'm proficient in Scribus, GIMP, Inkscape and LibreOffice (Draw). Additionally, I have a solid foundation in Automation technology, Electrical engines and systems, Industrial information technology, Fundamentals of mechanical engineering, Electronics, Operating system design, Network protocols, data encoding and modulation, workshops & laboratory, photovoltaic systems and battery pack building. Fluent in German and English (recently started to learn Bulgarian), I am available for remote or on-site work in Burgas, Bulgaria.
