I am a materials scientist and research engineer specializing in metallic coatings, advanced material characterization, and mechanical performance evaluation. Previously, I served as a Post-Doctoral researcher at IIT Madras, investigating Ni-based superalloy welds (Haynes 282) for high-temperature applications. I...I am a materials scientist and research engineer specializing in metallic coatings, advanced material characterization, and mechanical performance evaluation. Previously, I served as a Post-Doctoral researcher at IIT Madras, investigating Ni-based superalloy welds (Haynes 282) for high-temperature applications. I have also served as a senior research fellow at ARCI, Hyderabad, where I spent over six years advancing Cold Spray coatings of Al-aerospace alloys for repair and additive manufacturing. My technical expertise includes: 1. Materials Characterization: XRD, SEM/EDS, EBSD, TEM, SAXS/WAXS 2. Mechanical & Failure Testing: Hardness, Tensile, and High-Temperature evaluation 3. Process & Simulation Tools: Ansys, Abaqus, NX-Nastran (FEM & CFD modeling) 4. Materials Systems: Al and Ni-based alloys, Cold Spray coatings, Metal Additive Manufacturing I am deeply motivated by research that connects microstructure to performance, helping engineer materials that are both efficient and sustainable. My work has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications in Surface & Coatings Technology, Journal of Thermal Spray Technology, and Materialia.
