I have spent over 35 years of my working life in IT/Business Management and Management Consultancy, which means I have spent countless hours writing, reviewing, re-writing, proof reading and generally dealing with reports, tenders, proposals, memos and all sorts of technical and business material. I also write for my own personal blog if something interests or incenses me enough. I have had several novels refused by ignorant and unfeeling publishers. I currently write regularly for several clients. I have recently retired as an ICT Director and part-time ICT lecturer in an Ethiopian University. Currently, I consult to the major South African network supplier to the South African Tertiary Education sector. I have been everything from an R&D programmer to applications programmer to DP Manager to IT salesman, to ICT Bid Manager, to IT Director of two Universities in the Eastern Cape of SA. For my own company start-up, I worked as an out-and-out techie selling, installing and supporting PC and SMME network hardware and software. That gives me a strong technical background. I have been writing articles on IT technical topics to be published on various blogs each month for several years, supplemented by one-off assignments as they arise. My most recent one-off assignments included rewriting travel guides to Addis Ababa into proper English following a translation from Amharic, by the look of it via Klingon. Another was to proofread/edit a 40 page Russian IPO proposal machine translated into English into proper English. I have just completed writing a script to accompany a Lebanese Powerpoint presentation for another client. I am about to complete two similar exercises for Upwork clients where pre-written press releases and internal company communications need proof-read and updated. I have also assessed student's project submissions for an Australian University. My main activity is proof-reading and copywriting. Unfortunately, because of Non-Disclosure Agreements and other confidentiality considerations, the only samples I can provide are generic. I will be happy to provide any other samples that you might need, but only within those restrictions. I am in the GMT+2 timezone. I prefer to be paid via the escrow system at a negotiable rate, usually around $15 per 1,000 words, dependent on quantity and complexity. mai puțin

Due to an increasing number of unscrupulous employers, I unfortunately now have to request milestones for every job, whatever the size and prefer working with Freelancer "verified" employers. Milestones will have to be paid as soon as I accept the project, and released once the job has been competed to the employer's satisfaction. Should the employer wish to add or change anything to the work, I have no problem offering "after sales service" provided this is requested within 1 week of project completion. Thank you mai puțin
