We are using a template system for generating static websites from markdown files. The developer of this system is not any longer available for us. A documentation exists. The templates are more or less simple and carry some parameters for controlling the output. The Hugo static site generator looks good as a replacement. We need someone who knows Hugo and who is able to generate all existing sites (10) identical with the existing layout from Hugo instead of our old system. A short but useful documentation is required. More information will be delivered after getting in contact.

I had a developer create a Hugo () based blog for me about 4 years ago. The developer made the designs in AI and all the assets are available as far as I can tell. We will initially convert the WordPress (WP) website to Hugo with the "wordpress-to-hugo-exporter plugin". The conversion will then not be complete. I'm working on a project that is not the typical Hugo use case and am having some trouble understanding image processing using Hugo pipes. I'm looking for someone to show me how to create a gallery of pages from markdown and image files and reference those gallery pages through other files in a separate folder structure. I am also trying to range over those reference pages to create list pages that show the images listed in the front matter.

I would like to build a website from scratch using Hugo. I do not have a template but I tend to start with one of Hugo templates that are available. The project goal is to build an ecommerce website for digital CAD files, i.e. a customer can see a preview of the project (jpeg), pay for it and then get the 3D CAD files to his email and start working with them. My son's name is Hugo and he's 10 months old. He has a mixed heritage which is something I want to celebrate through a picture (which I'll get printed and framed). He is part English, Chinese, South African, and Polish. I wanted to incorporate the flags of these countries into the block letters of his name, and incorporate the national animals of these countries into the picture as well (Lion, Panda, Springbock, White-Tailed Eagle). Having not got experience in making such requests I'm not quite sure about how to go about this. I don't know whether I have to have the concept sketched out and upload that, or whether I give a description as per the above and leave the creative stuff to you good folks!

We create small 3-5 page websites created mostly with text-based content. Looking for someone that knows and can leverage the Hugo templating system. Most themes out there are noisy, filled with huge images, and look more like a creative design challenge than a website that does what it's supposed to...get the phone to ring.
