I require a raspberry pi (4B or preferably Zero 2w) to display on a small HDMI screen a USB webcam preview with no borders from boot. This should be relatively simple, with something like libcamera-hello -t 0, however the camera in question is not compatible with libcamera as it is MJPG and not YUV420. The camera in use is this - as it needs to be very small for the application. I can get the camera to display in some libraries, most noteably using luvcview, but this has nasty borders and the frame rate is low.

We have a bus safety system running on a raspberry Pi with a 7" automotive HDMI touchscreen. This is a prototype solution developed by our Electronic engineering firm. The GUI is basic and functions as required, but needs improvement. The system shows the status of seatbelts on a bus. When a seatbelt is latched, the icon associated with that seat goes green. When unlatched it turns red. When unlatched for a period of time - it goes white. The system is designed to work in any sized bus from 4 seats to 60 seats.
