We need a VB 6.0 Data access layer (DAL) in native VB code to insert records to about 9 tables that reside in a 7.x pervasive SQL Btrieve database. The current interface works and uses OLEDB however legacy applications use the low level API to access the Btrieve tables which causes file-locking errors with the interface if someone is using one of the tables. Therefore the DAL should use the appropriate pervasive database API to complete the work and prove that there are no contingency errors.
