We have a Strongswan VPN Server up on AWS, it is logging remote connections, but keeps returning NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN no matter the IKEv2 "VPN Type" we select. The traffic attempt is logged, so we know everything is standing and capable of talking. We need an expert to debug this with us on a call.

I can't ping across my VPN. It's strongswan with AWS TWG. I can see requests and replies in my strongswan router when I ping from my remote vpc, but only requests when I ping from on-prem. I'll need to share my screen, and you'll need to get my VPN up, and show me what you did.

I have a VPS running Ubuntu with IPsec (Strongswan) providing a VPN for two Cellular Modems which are behind CGNAT. I need it expanded for more modems and also add access for a Win10 client. It's been suggested to add OpenVPN for the Win10 access.
I'm setting up an ipsec tunnel on Debian 12 using Strongswan between two servers. The vpn is up but when I ping or traceroute the packets do not go through the vpn, they try to go instead via the open internet. I think I have a routing problem but even when I create a new route so the destination is reached via the VPN IP the packets still go to the default gateway instead of to the vpn.

We have a strongSwan Server and our Client needs access to the localhost () ports (8545, 8899) of the Server. Client can only reach the ports which are open for the Server (like port 22 SSH), but cannot reach the localhost ports. Pfa. log below of the connection initiation and telnet command.

We have a CCTV app which uses the StrongSwan vpn client to connect to remote sites. The StrongSwan client is integrated into our app but since we updated the app to work with android 10+ the StrongSwan code has stopped working. If we download the StrongSwan app for the Playstore then our app works, suggesting that our StrongSwan integration code needs updating to also work with Android 10+.

Hi, I have been trying to setup a site-to-site IPSec VPN (IKEv2 using PSK) on a VPS (Digital Ocean). I am using StrongSwan on Ubuntu, and I can provide an SSH access to a server with similar setup. I know the other side (which is not in my control) works fine as I have successfully connected to it from a different platform. Once you have demonstrated a successful connection, a documentation of the necessary steps is required so I can apply the changes on the actual server by myself. I have already tried this myself and would like to know what I might have overlooked. Thanks
Hi Ahmed F., I took that route-based StrongSwan VPN that you built for me last year and put VIPs on the Tokyo Spoke. Needless to say, the tunnel won't pass the packets now. I need someone to debug that and add VIPs to the second spoke.
