I am modifying a lamp design to help a visually impaired friend. The goal is to adapt an existing lamp design to fit a 3.7-volt battery, a USB-C charging module (TP-4056), and three LED modules. I have the original .stl files and can provide them upon request. Key Requirements: 1. Adjust the lamp base to: - Fit an 18650-type battery securely. - Include a holder for the TP-4056 charging module, ensuring it stays in place when plugging in the USB-C cable. - Add a hole on the side of the base for USB-C cable access. 2. Modify the lamp shade interior to: - Mount one to three 33mm diameter LED modules securely. - Close off the top of the shade, leaving only a small hole for wires (3mm diameter). Dimensions of New Components: - Battery Holder: 76mm x 21mm x 22mm - TP-4056 Module: 27.2mm x 20.3mm x 4.3mm - LED Modules: Diameter 33mm The base pieces should maintain their snap-fit feature for easy assembly. Ideal Skills: Experience with 3D modeling, .stl file modifications, and designing for 3D printing.

Hello, I can modify the existing lamp STL while preserving the base snap-fit. The key detail is restraining the TP-4056 board against the USB-C insertion force, not just making a pocket that matches its outline. I would fit the 76 x 21 x 22 mm battery holder, add a supported seat/retainer for the 27.2 x 20.3 x 4.3 mm charging module, and align the side opening with the actual connector and cable plug. In the shade I would add secure mounts for the selected number of 33 mm LED modules, close the top and retain the specified 3 mm wire opening, checking that wires cannot be pinched during assembly. My mechanical design work uses SolidWorks/Fusion 360. CAD27 includes revised print-ready STL files, the editable working file where rebuilt, and one minor fit correction based on your print feedback. Initial delivery: 2 days after receiving the original STLs. Please confirm one, two or three LEDs, the print material/nozzle size, and whether you have the connector position and LED board thickness. Mechanical accommodation is included; charging/protection circuitry and LED thermal limits should be confirmed by whoever assembles the electronics. Gokay

Hi, I can modify your lamp design to fit the 18650 battery, TP4056 USB-C module, and 3x 33mm LED modules. For the base I will: - create a secure 76x21x22mm holder for the 18650 battery - add a fitted slot for the 27.2x20.3x4.3mm TP4056 so it stays locked when plugging USB-C - add a side hole for USB-C access and keep the existing snap-fit For the shade I will: - design mounts to hold 1 to 3 LED modules (33mm diameter) securely inside - close the top and leave a 3mm wire hole I will work from your STL files and deliver print-ready STLs, optimized for FDM tolerances and easy assembly. If you share the original STLs and your preferred orientation for the charging port, I can start right away. Best regards

Hello, the main challenge is modifying the existing STL geometry while preserving the snap fit assembly and creating secure, print friendly mounting for the 18650 battery, TP 4056 module, USB C access, and LED modules. I would carefully adapt the base and shade around the supplied component dimensions, maintaining clearances, wire routing, and structural support so the modified parts remain practical for 3D printing and assembly. I have experience with STL modification, 3D printable product design, and component integration and can share relevant examples once we connect in chat. Also a quick question, do you want the LED modules positioned evenly around the shade or arranged according to a specific lighting direction? Best Regards, GridSmithLTD

I’m Kaif Hasan. I saw your project and wanted to help you. I can modify your existing STL lamp parts to securely accommodate the 18650 battery holder, TP-4056 module, USB-C access, and 33 mm LED modules while preserving the original exterior design and snap-fit assembly. I’ll also close the shade top with the required 3 mm wire opening and ensure the internal mounts have practical clearances for assembly and 3D printing. I can provide clean, print-ready STL files and make the necessary dimensional adjustments based on your original files. I’m available to start right away and can deliver the updated model within your required timeframe. I’m new on Freelancer, but I have 7+ years of experience, and I’m offering the most reasonable rates to build great client relationships. EVEN IF YOU DON'T HIRE ME, YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH A FREE CONSULTATION. You're redesigning a lamp base and shade to house an 18650 battery, TP-4056 charging module, and three LED modules for accessibility. The core challenges are securing the battery and charging module within a snap-fit base while maintaining USB-C cable access, and mounting the 33mm LED modules inside the shade with a sealed top. I'll modify your .stl files using CAD expertise to integrate the battery holder, create a secure TP-4056 bracket with proper cable routing, and adapt the shade interior to mount and align your LED modules. The result is a functional, printable design that preserves assembly simplicity. Here's how I'd approach it: - Review your original .stl files and map component placement within existing geometry - Redesign the base to accommodate battery dimensions, charging module holder, and USB-C port access - Modify the shade to securely mount LEDs and close the top with a 3mm wire passage I've completed database management projects and designed secure, modern interfaces for fintech and e-learning platforms, so precision component integration and user-focused design are second nature to me. Let's discuss your vision in detail. Reach out for a free consultation. Kind regards, Cornelius
