Job Title: Proficient Bookkeeper for Personal and Business Accounts
Job Description:
I am avCalifornia-based individual with both personal and business financial accounts, including expenditures related to various construction projects. We are seeking a proficient Bookkeeper to join our team and assist in managing our financial records effectively.
Responsibilities:
Bank Statement Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements for both personal and business accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
QuickBooks Management: Assist in setting up and maintaining QuickBooks Online for efficient financial record keeping.
Expense Categorization: Categorize and label transactions accurately, ensuring that all expenditures, including those associated with construction projects, are appropriately accounted for.
Data Verification: Review existing financial records, cross-referencing with provided notes, to identify any discrepancies or missed transactions. ( I will guide you regularly with my own notes.)
Record Maintenance: Consistently track and manage financial data for four personal and four business accounts.
Data Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of financial records, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with the account holder, providing updates on financial status and addressing any questions or concerns.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper with expertise in reconciling bank statements.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Familiarity with personal and business financial management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the account holder.
Knowledge of construction project accounting is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality.
