ALB-connection

I have the application which is needs to be deployed EKS cluster. so We already setup all the things like created EKS, VPC etc. for this we need ALB. this is created through ingress which is provided by AWS doc. and configure the host for the created ALB. and able to access the application using that host. the issue is when I modify the ingress file(which is able to create the ALB and ingress), and then apply the file again it is creating the new ALB. so that again we need to configure the host which is very hectic every time. if anyone have knowledge on this let us know. if i get the info at least that would be great like how to do all those things.
