I’m assembling a small field-research team to help my German web and mobile applications company map consumer behaviour across South-East Asia. A Malaysian passport is essential because you’ll be crossing borders frequently and handling on-site registrations that require ASEAN visa-free entry. No previous market-survey experience is expected; I will provide the interview scripts, data-collection templates and short remote training before each trip. Your core task is to visit assigned locations, observe and record how users interact with specific mobile services, photograph or screen-record key moments, then upload your findings through our internal portal. Travel scope Most assignments will rotate between Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, with occasional runs into neighbouring China when we test regional roll-outs. Each trip lasts two to four days, all expenses covered up front. Tech component A beginner-level grasp of Android applications is enough. You’ll install beta builds on your own device, note any crashes or UI issues, and relay screenshots or logcat extracts so our devs can reproduce problems back in Berlin. Deliverables for every trip • Completed digital questionnaire for each test location • Photo/video evidence and timestamped notes • Short debrief call the day you return If you hold a valid Malaysian passport, can travel on short notice and are comfortable documenting straightforward app tests, I’d like to hear from you.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out about this project. I went through the full scope and I'm interested in being part of the field research team. I'm based in Malaysia and hold a valid Malaysian passport. I'm also comfortable travelling within the region for short assignments when required. My freelance work involves a mix of local field assignments, research, data collection, documentation and coordination for international clients. I've handled assignments where I needed to visit locations personally, collect and verify information, take photo evidence, communicate with people on the ground and provide clear reports back to the client. Because of that, the fieldwork and reporting side of this project is something I'm comfortable with. I'm also comfortable working from provided scripts, questionnaires and data collection templates. For the Android testing component, while I'm not a technical developer, I'm comfortable using Android and following your training and testing procedures to document crashes, UI issues, screenshots and other required observations. The 2–4 day travel arrangement works for me, subject to coordinating the trip dates in advance. Happy to discuss how frequently you expect the assignments to take place and what the first trip would involve. Thank you, Naqiudeen

Hi there, Your regional research project caught my attention, and I’d love to contribute as a field researcher. I hold a valid Malaysian passport and am fully prepared for short-notice, 2–4 day assignments across Southeast Asia and China. Speaking English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu allows me to easily navigate ground interactions, observe consumer interactions naturally, and gather clean, accurate qualitative data during regional trips. My background is centered around user research, data analysis, and documentation. I'm very comfortable following structured testing scripts, capturing timestamped photo/video evidence, and putting together concise debriefs so your team gets clear insights after every trip. On the technical front, I use an iPhone as my main device. If an Android test device can be assigned or arranged for the beta app testing, I can easily handle UI bug reporting, screenshot captures, and log reporting per your guidelines. I’d be happy to chat about your upcoming trip schedule and the initial assignment details. Best, Elva

I’m interested in this field-research project. I’ll be straightforward — my current resume is not specifically focused on market research or field research. However, I think I can fit this project well because the role is mainly about following instructions, testing applications, observing user behaviour, documenting what I see, and reporting it clearly. On the technical side, I’m comfortable using Android phones and testing mobile applications. I understand how to check UI/UX, navigation, functions, user flow, errors and general usability. I can follow a test script, take screenshots or videos, record what happened, and provide clear notes for the development team. I’m also comfortable learning your internal tools and following your templates and training. If you are looking for someone who can travel, follow the research instructions carefully, observe what is actually happening on the ground and report it accurately, I’d be happy to discuss the project. Being a Malaysian passport holder who is fluent in English and Mandarin would be an asset in crossing borders and bridging any language barriers during your regional roll-outs. I'm tech-savvy, proficient in using Android applications, and have a quick understanding of new technologies which enables me to fit into various roles. Rest assured, I'll acquaint myself with your testing software swiftly to ensure smooth operations.
