Job Description:
I'm a speech-language pathologist looking to develop a web-based communication menu for non-speaking children. My idea is based off online restaurant menus - think McDonald's or Panera. Unlike most communication apps, the idea behind this is to be site-specific versus a global communication alternative. For example, I hope to implement this first at a local children's museum. The menu would have pictures of each space the child could have access to at the museum and when the child selected the picture, recorded speech would play ("I want to go to the ball pit").
