My goal is to design and create a smart wifi enabled temperature and humidity sensor using Arduino ESP8266 and DHT22. I want it to utilize a square 1.54in e-paper display to show current room temperature and humidity readings and have the display refresh once every 15, 30, or 60 seconds.
Ideally, I would like a simple android app to be created as well for initial setup, and wireless monitoring. I am located in Canada and want the temperature to be updated in Celsius.
Last, I want the temperature data to work with IFTTT to turn on/off smart plugs to control a portable air conditioner or humidifier
