I work for an agency based in SF and we are looking for a person familiar with Asana and content ordering/editing processes. It would be great if you have some (any) experience with how SEO & content (mostly blog-style articles or core page content) work together. Most pieces are ~800 words and typically require a 1 page brief (we can provide examples of how this looks) that will need to be created 7-10 (or more) days prior to the final delivery date. Content is returned and will need to be edited for both grammar/spelling and to ensure proper optimization for SEO.
A lot of the SEO stuff we can train you on, but would be great if you're at least minimally familiar with it or know the concepts. Similar with Asana - we use a triage board to manage orders/briefs/delivered content and we can train you but knowing Asana already will help.
We are looking for a US-based, native english speaker. I think the ideal candidate will be somebody who is a stay at home parent (or stays at home for any other reason) and has 3-6 hours/day to work on things. Typically the first week of the month is pretty dead, and the rest is busier but should not be too crazy.
As mentioned we are based in SF and work PST business hours so would need you to be available for some/most of those. Editing stuff can be done whenever, but just need to be available on Slack.
Please respond with any questions you may have. There is minimal ACTUAL writing involved here, maybe making quick corrections when editing to save time, but rarely would you be actually writing entire pieces of content. I left that stuff in the Skills Required because I think they would be helpful.
Hourly, contract role.
