Clever Real Estate is looking for talented writers and real estate experts to join our growing team of freelance content creators!
Details:
- You must be able to handle a minimum of 7 articles per week (10+ is ideal)
- Starting rate is 6 cents per word — you will have the opportunity to earn more once you’ve demonstrated your ability to consistently deliver high-quality content during your initial trial period (4 to 6 weeks)
- All articles are ghostwritten under the bylines of members of the Clever team
How to Apply:
- Submit information via the link below
- Send us at least two writing samples that showcase your grasp of grammar, style, and relatively technical subject matter (try to make your examples as relevant as possible!)
- If our editorial team likes what we see, we will send over a paid trial assignment
- Submit the trial, we will review, then reach out with next steps
- Either way, you be compensated for your work (provided you submit your trial in a timely manner and put in an honest effort)
As a Member of Our Freelance Team, You Will:
-Work closely with our in-house editorial team to produce highly informative, well-written articles (typically between 700 and 1,000 words) that cover all aspects of real estate and related industries
- E.g., buying, selling, investing, flipping, mortgages, insurance, and more
- Conduct thorough research and proofread your own work to ensure each article is effectively ready to publish upon delivery
- Communicate with our team and track your work using our workflow management tools (Slack, Airtable, etc.)
- Ensure each article is written in accordance with the style, tone, and SEO requirements laid out in our Brand Guidelines
- Strictly adhere to the agreed upon, weekly deadlines
Once You’ve Proven Yourself, You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Earn more per article
- Have more autonomy in the ideation and writing process
- Get your own byline on the Clever Real Estate Blog
- Work on other types of high-value content, including industry reports, ebooks, white papers, site copy, infographics, and more
- Ghostwrite articles that will be featured on prominent, external publications (CNBC, [login to view URL], Inman, Bigger Pockets, etc.)
