As a Technical Writer working for a company that creates SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) product, I believe that I am the perfect candidate for the above-mentioned position. I want to list out the reasons why:
1. Responsible for the documentation of an entire product of the company I work for.
2. Experience of creating API documentation, User Manuals, Guides, and How-to Videos (working as a Technical Writer in a SIEM company - LogPoint).
3. Experience in writing White paper type documents and application notes on a daily basis.
4. Experience in creating content using Sphinx and Restructured text. (Documentation created using Sphinx can be shipped both through HTML as well as Latex, and it offers flexibility in the formatting of the final output).
5. Knowledge about the working of Zendesk/ Customer Portal / Jira / Confluence (Our company works on all these domains)
6. Working knowledge of formulating Table of Contents and structuring content depending on the need (I am responsible for the documentation of an entire product of our company)
7. Eager to learn, patient and a quick understanding of new things.
8. Knowledge of using ScreenFlow, Snagit, Restructured Text (using Komodo), creating PDF and HTML content using Restructured Text, and knowledge of Git.
