We are seeking an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team to develop a complete engineering design, BIM coordination and construction documentation package for a large-scale commercial building project. This is a multidisciplinary engineering project covering Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, Life Safety, BIM and detailed CAD documentation. The selected engineering team will be responsible for developing coordinated engineering systems from design development through construction-ready documentation. I'm a senior CAD and design engineer with 8+ years of experience working with AutoCAD, Solidworks, CAD/CAM and Mechanical Engineering. With Revit, the real challenge is matching codes and site conditions. A common issue: finishing detailed drawings before the key design inputs are confirmed, so everything gets redrawn. My plan: first, confirm the design inputs, codes and site data. Then, prepare the calculations and drawings in Revit. Finally, check them against the codes and deliver editable files. I've done engineering design work in AutoCAD. A few questions to better understand the scope: 1. Which code or standard must the design follow?
