Logo redraws and vector cleanups are bread-and-butter work for us, and your brief is unusually precise about what is wrong, which makes it a pleasure to quote. We'd like the chance to do it. How we'd do it: the S gets rebuilt on the same geometry as the M and G rather than restyled by eye — matching stroke weight by measuring the M's stem, flat terminals cut on the same angle, and the spine curvature set so the optical weight at the S's midpoint equals the M's. Three letters only look like one font when they share construction, not just a look. For the tail-to-G join, we'd fatten the G's lower bowl slightly and carry the tail in as a single continuous outline, then boolean them into one path so there is no seam at any size.
