Project Title: Buildings Monitoring Equipment Consultation
Introduction:
I am seeking a consultant to provide expertise in monitoring equipment for industrial buildings. The main purpose of the monitoring equipment will be focused on security, Wi-Fi and integration of various systems like VMS, door access, intercom, telecoms. Wi-Fi connected to a single top level software system. The cameras will also be doing several video analytics apps.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for this project should have experience in the following areas:
1. Industrial Building Monitoring:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the specific requirements and challenges associated with monitoring security in industrial buildings. Help find identify the Hardware/software and its configuration, implementation, working with vendors. Prefer to use open source software.
2. Video Surveillance Systems:
- Expertise in designing and implementing video surveillance systems for industrial buildings.
- Familiarity with different types of cameras and their specifications.
- Ability to recommend the most suitable video surveillance equipment for the specific needs of the industrial building.
3. Integration with Access Control Systems:
- Experience in integrating video surveillance systems with access control systems to enhance security measures.
4. System Scalability and Flexibility:
- Ability to design a monitoring system that can easily scale to accommodate future expansions or changes in the industrial building.
5. Wireless Access Points-Wi-Fi WAP:
- Knowledge of relevant Hardware and software (just like video surveillance, above)
6. Project Management:
- Strong project management skills to ensure the successful implementation of the monitoring system within the specified timeframe and budget. Work with client and vendors and subcontractors.
Our budget is just placeholder and you bid your best offer. Initial task to identify the HW/SW) has to be done on fixed price and then it will be hourly work. Both will be negotiated. Please submit your hourly rate also. Submit examples of relevant buildings work done with addresses of buildings, make/model of products used. We shall share the drawings with short-listed persons only. Currently, we are looking at about 70 Cameras (indoor/outdoor, bullet & 360) about 25 WAP spread over multiple buildings. Some buildings are 80 Ft tall. A survey will have to be conducted (with your help) to determine exact quantity, type & locations of the HW.
