To Whom It May Concern: Southstate Ventures, LLC. is a leading inmate care package supplier located in the United States. We are looking to expand our business operations by offering our customers a wider selection of products to choose from. However, based on the rules and regulations of each correctional facility, only a contracted vendor is allowed to sell care packages to the inmate population. Therefore, we would like to propose an opportunity for an “approved vendor” to contract with us which would allow us to sell their products on our website and then have the contracted vendor fulfill these items- sort of like a “Dropshipping agreement” or “reseller agreement” First, we need to propose this concept to the person(s) in charge of operations. We need to sound convincing, and give details of our operations and business background in order for them to make an informed decision. Please let me know if some of the details seem confusing as I would be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. RECAP: The Problem: Unable to sell inmate care packages to certain correctional facilities because we are not an “approved vendor” to sell to the inmate population. The Solution: We are hoping to develop a business relationship with these “approved vendors” by first creating a proposal letter outlining how we can mutually benefit from a partnership agreement whereby we sell their products on our website and then we send the orders to the approved vendor for fulfillment.
