Build a Chrome Browser Extension

Need help with build of a Chrome browser extension. May extend the project after one build to Edge Browser extension as additional project. Browser extension feature/functionality: User opens specific shopping websites (ex: amazon, walmart, Target) and searches for specific product with keyword search. Browser extension should utilize the products displayed and take the products Ids and rank them based on our backend database and present them in the dropdown of the browser extension. This plugin must take the products Ids and fetch for all products of the search, not just what is presented in page 1. Plugin should authenticate the user to be a valid existing user registered previously. Must meet Chrome Apps quality Guidelines and Extensions Quality guidelines (or else .. it will never see the daylight!) Overall feel of the plugin is similar to price ranking plugins but simplicity is that fetched data does not need to cross multiple websites. Backend data is sourced from our Google cloud database (probably mongo db or similar) and results should be reasonably fast and thus need to be Java, C, C++ some HTML, Chrome API skills needed.
