I need an IIS Guru to figure out why our websites sometimes show "The service is unavailable" and fix that.
Expected budget around $100 to investigate this and if you fix it or instruct .Net developer how to fix it, bonus of $200 extra.
Not, no FTP to server (only screen sharing to server will be allowed.)
Running websites using IIS 6.0, SQL, .NET Framework Version:2.0
Sometimes see "The service is unavailable." on the ASPX websites.
The server is only running at 30% CPU and has lots of RAM.
It seems like some data is being retained OR not dropped OR repeatly loaded.
If we run HTML versions of the sites, the problem does not happen.

When unavailable message occurred we checked windows event log and got following :-
"A process serving application pool '[login to view URL]' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '3924'."
This message is logged to the event log when an application pool takes longer than the configured ShutdownTimeLimit property to shut down. When this time limit is exceeded, the worker process will be forcibly shut down and recycled and the event log message created.

Hello!
*** Please consider me as a top candidate for your project. ***
I have implemented large scale MS IIS architecture for the last few years with deployments up to 2500 servers. I have experience with Active Directory, TMG, Proxies and Powershell to complement knowledge of IIS.
*** For your project ***, I would review all the application pool settings. The server needs to correctly handle the request from the client to process. There may be errors with the code execution as well with buffer overflows.
I have a wealth of 20 years of experience and scripts needed to complete this in a timely manner. Looking forward to working with you. Thanks for the opportunity.
Please view my portfolio page on freelancer.com for the Microsoft diagrams. Justin
P.S. As I mentioned I can assist in many areas!
