Porting usually requires very little effort, UNLESS, the data types involve large numbers that require __int64 . Similarly some of the Win32 API calls or MFC calls may also need porting, but overall, it shouldn't be too hard to port 32-bit to 64-bit target platform on MS Windows , using MS Visual Studio/C++

I have used Visual Studio for over 20 years from versions 1.5 to 2019. I am aware of the potential issues when converting between 32 and 64 bit architectures having worked on a number of application conversions between Visual Studios 2005 , 2010 and 2012 mainly relating to array size, and native types but also other not so obvious issues.
