Job Description:
Project scope includes the demolition of an existing cabin (to floor/foundation) and reconstruction of a timber frame cottage using the same footings except where the building is being made larger (new footings).
The cottage is water access and off-grid. Power is provided by a solar/battery setup. Propane fuels the hot water heater and oven. A new septic tank and bed are being installed.
We (Voyageur Backcountry Construction) are looking for assistance with the mechanical design and drafting for plumbing (incoming water & drainage), gas (location of propane regulator and lines), and electrical layout (only from existing AC panel throughout house). There may also be an opportunity to assist us with the non-structural framing & insulation components of the job and other drafting work.
