I want a fully reproducible workflow that turns raw satellite and vector data into a complete Urban Heat Island story for Wroclaw and Bengaluru. The job is split in two tightly-linked stages: one Google Earth Engine script and one Python routine. Stage 1 – Earth Engine Create a single .js file that I can run once per city. It must • pull daytime land surface temperature from Landsat 8 (collection 2, Tier 1 preferred) and export the raster plus a high-resolution PNG (Fig 8) • generate a Local Climate Zone map (Fig 9) but with boundaries adjusted to the most recent OpenStreetMap/urban extent layers rather than the default rule set • extract night-time land surface temperature from MODIS and export the corresponding raster/PNG (Fig 11) • output a city-wide 100 m fishnet grid as GeoJSON/Shapefile so the Python step reads it directly Stage 2 – Python Using the grid and rasters above, a single script should: • build temperature box-plots by LCZ (Fig 10) • run Getis-Ord Gi* for both day and night scenes to flag statistically significant hot/cold spots, then map the z-scores (Fig 12) • fit MGWR, OLS and a Random Forest model, assess them with both random and spatial cross-validation, and export a comparison table plus MGWR coefficient maps (Fig 13) Deliverables 1. [login to view URL] and [login to view URL], fully commented 2. A short README with run instructions and any package versions 3. The six figures and the model comparison table reproduced for each city Everything has to be parameterised so I can add new cities later by changing a few variables. Let me know if you need sample data or prefer alternative libraries; I’m open as long as the outputs and file names stay consistent with the list above.

Hello, The hidden challenge here is not producing six attractive figures, it is making the entire Wroclaw and Bengaluru workflow reproducible, statistically defensible, and easy to extend to another city. I can structure the JavaScript, Python, and README deliverables around shared city parameters so Landsat daytime LST, MODIS nighttime LST, OSM-adjusted LCZ boundaries, 100 m grids, GeoJSON/Shapefile exports, Gi* hotspot analysis, MGWR, OLS, Random Forest, and both random and spatial cross-validation remain consistent. I will use JavaScript in Google Earth Engine for parameterized raster preparation and exports, then Python for raster/grid integration, Analytics, box-plots, spatial statistics, model comparison, and coefficient maps. I’ll document package versions, assumptions, CRS handling, and reproducible run instructions, while preserving the requested filenames and figure outputs. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. I can begin by confirming the satellite date/cloud-mask rules, preferred OSM urban-extent source, and MGWR response/predictor definitions, then deliver the workflow in reviewable stages. Should the models use predefined predictors and publication-matching methods, or may I define the predictor set and validation design from the available city datasets? Best regards, Asad A key planning point is whether the figures must match an e

Hi, Bojan here, from Serbia. Building your urban heat GIS analysis automation with 100 m fishnet grid and six figures comes down to one thing: numbers people trust and use to make decisions. I'm a senior software developer with 8+ years of experience working with Python, JavaScript, Data Visualization and Data Analysis. For your urban heat GIS analysis automation, the real challenge is clean data and clear definitions. My plan: first, agree each metric, its definition and its data source. Then, clean and model the data, and build the report pages in the BI tool. Finally, check totals against the source and set up scheduled refresh. I'd start with the main dashboard pages as phase one. I've done reporting work in Python, so I check early for totals that do not match the source. A few questions to better understand the scope: 1. Does the data include personal details? Then row-level access limits what each viewer sees. 2. Build one shared data model for all reports? I'd recommend it, so reports stay consistent. 3. Are the dashboards shown to your own clients? Client reports need branding and strict access rules. I can start right away. Happy to go over the details here in chat and suggest the best approach. Looking forward to hearing from you, Bojan

Hi, I am a software engineer with over 16 years of experience, including geospatial automation, remote-sensing workflows, Python analytics, statistical modelling, and reproducible data processing. I can build the parameterised Google Earth Engine and Python workflow for Wroclaw and Bengaluru, covering Landsat daytime LST, MODIS night-time LST, updated LCZ classification, the 100 m grid, Gi* hotspot analysis, LCZ box plots, MGWR/OLS/Random Forest modelling, spatial validation, maps, tables, and documented exports. I will keep city settings, dates, projections, paths, and analysis options configurable so additional cities can be added without rewriting the workflow. The scripts will be fully commented and accompanied by a concise README with package versions and run instructions. Before starting, could you share the referenced example figures or source study, the intended analysis dates/seasons, and the dependent and predictor variables expected for MGWR, OLS, and Random Forest? I can recommend suitable alternatives if these are not fixed. Please contact me to discuss details.

Wroclaw and Bengaluru would run from one set of city variables, so adding a third city later is a few edits. First I'd get the Earth Engine script exporting the Wroclaw Landsat raster, the Fig 8 PNG and the 100 m fishnet for you to check. The Python script then reads that grid directly. Price is 1050 INR, 50% once the Wroclaw exports work, 50% at handover. Should the LCZ boundaries follow OpenStreetMap, the urban extent layer, or a blend of both? Happy to begin with Wroclaw once that's settled. Sela

MGWR bandwidth selection at city scale is the main risk here, so I will test mgwr against a subsampled grid first and fall back to GWR if it fails. Day one I will parameterise the GEE script for both cities, pulling Landsat 8 C2/T1 daytime LST and MODIS night LST with cloud masking, then build the LCZ layer from OSM building footprints and road buffers instead of default WUDAPT rules. For Python I will use geopandas and rasterio for the fishnet overlay, pysal for Getis-Ord Gi*, and mgwr with spatial cross-validation via scikit-learn extended to block folds, exporting all six figures and the model comparison table you listed. You would receive two fully commented scripts, a README with pinned versions, and reproducible outputs for Wroclaw and Bengaluru ready for new cities. Message me now and I will start today. This sounds like a very interesting and unique project! Can be properly parallelized to fasten it up. Also will need multiple integrations with 3rd parties which complicates it. I bring [15+] years of experience building software in regulated environments, maintaining high standards for quality, architecture, and requirements analysis. Have you considered incorporating AI automation into this process? I’d suggest creating a solid, cloud-based Claude workflow that communicates via APIs. This approach is fast, reliable, and easily configurable or expandable as your system grows. That said, starting manually as you planned makes complete sense to establish the foundation first. We can design the initial version so that automation fits seamlessly whenever you are ready. Estimated Timeframe: 2–3 weeks for a POC Let me know if you’d like to jump on a quick chat to discuss how we can approach this! Best regards, Zoltán Rajkai
