Database Solution Rent a Classic Car Mallorca Background information We are a new small claasic rental car business based on the beautiful Balearic island of Mallorca (Spain). Our company has a fleet of 9 cars which we supply for: • Indiviual Rental • Film & TV • Photography / Media • Weddings • Events • Clubs and Tours Present System Customer information is captured manually in an excel spreadsheet, none of the data from the web site (Wordpress) is being captured orused intelligently. Although when the web site was first constructed I was told that all the client data would be kept within a database, I have not been able to obtain this data via our current web designer. Forms We use some simple forms within our business. • Rental Contract – This holds client info, name address, email, telephone, passport number drivers licence. • Invoice – Name, Company, address, prices • Terms and conditions – no details • Event Quotation Form – Company and contact details At the moment our system is completely manual, and requires all data to be input for each form. Basic Requirements Capture all contact data from website Manualy upload data into CRM/DB Automaticaly Capture enquiry data from web site Create forms from DB, and populate with client info Easily export email addresses for various db types for eshots Simple “teach a monkey” integration with some sort of e shot software, such as mail chimp. Multi User 1-5 Users Cloud based. Database types must be easily maintainable, so we can add, or modify etc. Easily change, alter or add to the database types. And any comments. We would also like to easily carry out email shots the various database types eg. Private individual, boat charter, hotels, tour operators etc. We have a blank page at the moment, so are open to what database we might use, wether its bespoke or off the shelf, but customized.
