Updated context 5-24-23: I am looking for a skilled editor to proofread, edit, and contribute rewrites to a business book about how to Link Talent to Value in private equity owned portfolio companies. The book is less than 100 pages (actually ~50) long and I need it completed as soon as possible.
To be clear, this could end up being more of ghost writer project, as the draft I put together is basically converted from an in person 1 hour plus presentation on the topic with 15-20 graphic slides to present the info.
This book will not be for sale, but I will have it self published via Amazon, printed in paper back and create an e-book that will include a lot of images that tie into and provide visual support to each section. I will be sending this work to many clients to pre-educate and provide some expanded credibility in the organization development and c-suite executive recruiting and selection work we do.
I broke it down by chapters that make sense to me, but will value a professional perspective and advise on how to package and complete the short book as best as possible.
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Familiarity with various editing styles (APA, MLA, Chicago Manual of Style)
- Experience with business writing and editing
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with me throughout the editing process.
