I would like to hire an experienced electrical engineer with wide know-how and advanced understanding of the current GSM & GPS and/or Satellite technologies, who can design and build a vanward prototype of GSM & GPS Tracking Device with the following characteristics: * as small, as possible in regards of the PCB (electrical circuit board) dimensions; * accurate, sensitive and efficient due the amplified GSM (3G/4G) & GPS and/or Satellite technologies; * number of sensors: accelerometer, gyroscope, temperature, humidity, motion, magnetic, e-compass; * multifunctional applications of the device with long lasting battery and electrical power supply, including 220V DC and 12V power supply; * different modifications of the device - with applicable device's mold (box) or without mold (box); * communication module that sends data to web-application/platform, notifications and text messages for switching the different modes of the device; * the main mode of the device should be the one in sleeping mode - it will send data when there is movement; * the device management should be applicable remotely to send/receive commands and changing the device's modes; * firmware development and testing of the work of the prototype; * set up of secure web-based geolocation platform, with possible encrypted communication between the device and the platform; The prototype of the GSM & GPS tracking device should be designed either from scratch or based on the adaptive modification of existing technologies and available commercial products. The deadline for presenting of working prototype of GSM & GPS Tracking Device is 4 weeks from the date of approval for starting the work on the project. The budget of the project is total of 1500.00 EUR. Payments to the approved applicants will be made on the initially agreed milestones. I look forward your proposals.

Hello, I am an electrical engineer who has 8 years of practical experience in embedded firmware programming and advanced PCB design, 3D modeling. I am going to reduce my work history but want to update you my recent project that tells you I am just for your project. First, I designed and programmed fingerprint attendance device(massive product in China) that is based on OV7670, GC0305, GC0307. And I also designed hardware firmware for face recognition of binocular camera use. Recently I was engaged in smart chair monitoring device(for Austria company) that requires ultra low power energy in BLE and very sensitive of movement status of official chair for 1 year. And I also designed Toddler monitor device for same use based on Nordic NRF52382 most advanced Bluetooth5.0 ble device and ESP32. Finally I am designing GPS tracking device for child care on final stage. ================ Plan for this Project ============== First day: Discuss with client about project more and set all components for project and ordering all. Also ordering all modules (not components) for bread boarding test 7 days: Finishing whole project functionality based on modues( software firmware complete and design complete) -- 3 days: PCB design complete for main board and camera side board 2 days: Prototyping 2 days(optional) : for 3D modeling only if needed. I can provide you with schematic wiring plans and manufacturer's product specific information for components required to build a custom GPS tracking device. It will be hand sized or approximately pocket sized, with 3G, LTE satellite capability. It will be accessible to monitor through a smart phone application or pc that will display real time movement through user login. Firmware won't be necessary to develop but basic programming will be required once it is constructed. The programming will be easily accomplished through instructions available with the main PCB. Software will provide temperature, humidity, motion, and e-compass and also allow for real time tracking and viewing of history of travel path. This functionality will be provided through a web based platform that is monitored either from a smart phone or computer through user login and not separate built in sensors. Building in separate sensors will make the device larger than reasonable to be a tracking device as the device will already require a small antennae. 1500 Euros is a good price for a project, but the timing for this amount of development is very small. The only exception is that the contractor has a ready project. In any case, let's discuss the steps. 1. Preparation of the concept and selection (and coordination with you) of the component of the device - 1st week. 2. Designing the PCB and ordering the component for the PCB -2nd week 3. Creating the main part of the program code and ordering the printed circuit board. - 3rd week. 4. Continuation of programming and motherboard components. - 4th week. 5. PCB receipt and assembly - Week 5 6. Debugging the finished device and sending - 6th week. Of course, the deadlines may change to the least due to the experience and preparedness for completing the task, but you should not forget that the main enemy of short and quick projects is possible suppliers problems (for example, holidays or other delays in shipping) or hidden defects and errors that occur bypass at the program level after negotiation with the chip manufacturer. All this takes a lot of time. Nevertheless, I am ready to take on this project in view of 6 weeks (plus minus 1 week). I can send the device to any place on the planet via American Express or DHL.
