**NOTE: Please DO NOT contact us outside this platform.** # B2B Marketing Associate — Email Marketing & Public Sector **Part-Time | Approx. 20 Hours/Week | Remote | Long-Term** EPIC Translations is a U.S.-based language services company seeking an experienced B2B Marketing Associate to manage and grow our marketing program. Our audience consists of organizations throughout the U.S., with a growing focus on state government agencies, counties, school districts, universities, public healthcare organizations, transportation authorities, and other public-sector/federally funded organizations. ## WE ALREADY HAVE THE LEADS We are not primarily hiring someone to generate new lead lists. EPIC already has nearly 8,000 U.S.-based public- and private-sector leads/prospects. Our priority is to market to this existing audience more strategically and consistently. We need someone who can turn this database into a structured B2B marketing program: **Segment audiences → develop relevant messaging → create content → run targeted email campaigns → nurture prospects → identify engagement → generate conversations → support opportunities through the sales process.** New prospect research will continue, particularly for strategic public-sector accounts, but lead generation is secondary. ## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ### 1. EMAIL MARKETING — PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY Email will be our primary marketing channel. Responsibilities include: * Review, clean, organize, and segment our database * Develop strategies for different industries and buyer personas * Create targeted campaigns and multi-email nurture sequences * Write strong subject lines, email copy, and CTAs * Develop campaign calendars * Personalize campaigns for important segments/accounts * Create re-engagement campaigns * A/B test messaging and approaches * Monitor deliverability and list hygiene * Analyze opens, clicks, replies, meetings, and engagement * Identify engaged prospects for personalized follow-up * Continuously improve campaigns based on results We do NOT want someone whose idea of email marketing is sending the same message to 8,000 contacts. A school administrator should not necessarily receive the same campaign as a state procurement official. A university accessibility professional may need different messaging from a county language-access coordinator. We want the right message reaching the right audience at the right time. ### 2. AUDIENCE SEGMENTATION & STRATEGY Our database includes state agencies, counties/municipalities, K–12 school districts, universities, healthcare and transportation organizations, nonprofits, public agencies, and private companies. You will help determine what each audience cares about, which EPIC services are relevant, what problems they need solved, what content will earn attention, how often we should communicate, what CTAs to use, and how engaged prospects should be nurtured. We expect you to bring strategy—not simply execute instructions. ### 3. CONTENT MARKETING You will create/refine content supporting our campaigns, including: * Case studies and client success stories * Landing pages and website content * Educational/thought-leadership content * Capability and service-specific materials * Industry-specific campaigns * Presentations and email assets EPIC has substantial experience serving government agencies, educational institutions, transportation organizations, and other institutional clients. You will help turn that experience into persuasive content showing why prospective clients should trust and choose EPIC. ### 4. PUBLIC-SECTOR MARKETING Our strategic growth focus increasingly centers on U.S. public-sector organizations. You will learn how these organizations evaluate and select language-services providers and help us communicate effectively with procurement officials, contract administrators, department directors, language-access/accessibility professionals, school administrators, program managers, and other decision-makers. Experience marketing to government, education, healthcare, SaaS, professional services, or other complex B2B organizations is highly desirable. Language-services experience is helpful but not required; we can teach you our industry. ### 5. CLIENT MEETINGS & PRESENTATIONS Government agencies and institutional prospects sometimes invite EPIC to interviews, presentations, demonstrations, and finalist meetings before selecting a vendor. You will occasionally participate alongside EPIC leadership and our operational team. You must be comfortable communicating professionally with prospective U.S. clients via Zoom, Teams, and similar platforms. As you learn EPIC, you will help prepare presentation strategy, decks, and talking points; anticipate questions; participate in presentations; explain EPIC's capabilities and differentiators; position our technology/workflows; identify client concerns; and support follow-up. We are not looking for an aggressive salesperson. We need someone who communicates persuasively, builds confidence, understands client needs, and helps demonstrate why EPIC is the right partner. ### 6. LEARN & MARKET EPIC'S TECHNOLOGY EPIC has proprietary technology supporting translation and interpreting services, including document translation, on-site interpreting, OPI, VRI, ASL, CART/captioning, interpreter scheduling/management, client/project workflows, AI-assisted translation, reporting, and service visibility. You do not need to be technical, but you must learn to explain what our technology does for clients and why it matters. ### 7. STRATEGIC PROSPECT RESEARCH — SECONDARY You may periodically research high-value government agencies, school districts, counties, decision-makers, language-services contracts, procurement activity, contract expiration dates, and language-access initiatives. The objective is strategic account expansion—not mass lead scraping. ## WHAT THIS POSITION IS NOT This is not primarily social media management, paid advertising, PPC, influencer marketing, consumer marketing, generic SEO, or mass lead generation. The core is: **Email Marketing + Audience Segmentation + B2B Content + Public-Sector Marketing + Client-Facing Support** ## WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Ideally, you have 4–8 years of relevant B2B marketing experience, potentially in professional services, government/public-sector marketing, GovTech, EdTech, healthcare, SaaS, accessibility, staffing/workforce solutions, government contracting, or another institutional B2B industry. You should have: * Excellent professional written and spoken English * Strong B2B email marketing and copywriting skills * Audience segmentation and content marketing experience * Strong research and analytical skills * Excellent presentation/client-facing communication * Professional judgment and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and take ownership Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, WordPress/CMS, analytics, LinkedIn, and modern AI tools is desirable. ## AI PROFICIENCY We actively use AI for research, analysis, campaign ideation, content development, and productivity. We do not want generic AI-generated content. Published work must demonstrate strategy, human judgment, fact-checking, and understanding of the audience. ## THE PERSON WHO WILL SUCCEED We want someone who looks at our database and asks: **How should these 8,000 prospects be segmented? What does each group care about? What should we communicate? Which campaigns should run next? Who is engaging? How do we turn engagement into conversations?** We do not want someone waiting each week for a task list. We want someone who learns our company, studies performance, recommends what should happen next, and increasingly owns the marketing program. ## WORKING ARRANGEMENT * Independent contractor * Approx. 20 hours/week * Remote * Long-term opportunity * Availability during agreed-upon U.S. business hours * Occasional prospective-client meetings/presentations * Works directly with company leadership * Hours may increase based on performance/business needs ## HOW TO APPLY Please do not send a generic digital-marketing proposal. Answer: 1. Describe your experience managing B2B email marketing campaigns. 2. Have you managed an existing prospect database? How large was it and how did you segment it? 3. Describe one email campaign/nurture sequence you developed and its results. 4. Which email marketing, CRM, analytics, CMS, and AI platforms do you use? 5. Describe experience marketing to U.S. government, education, healthcare, SaaS, or other institutional B2B audiences. 6. Are you comfortable participating in video meetings/presentations with prospective U.S. government and institutional clients? 7. What time zone are you in, and what U.S. business hours are you available? 8. **MOST IMPORTANT:** Assume we give you approximately 8,000 prospects consisting of state agencies, counties, school districts, universities, healthcare organizations, transportation organizations, nonprofits, and private companies. In 200 words or less, explain what you would do during your first 30 days. We will give significant weight to Question #8. **NOTE: Please do not contact us outside this platform.**

You already have the hard part many teams never reach: a sizable database of real prospects. The issue now is turning those 8,000 contacts into segmented campaigns that speak differently to procurement officials, school administrators, healthcare teams, and university stakeholders instead of pushing one generic message to everyone. My first move would be to audit the list structure, define audience buckets and buyer roles, then build a 30-day email/content cadence tied to engagement signals and follow-up actions. I’ve worked on B2B email marketing, CRM cleanup, nurture sequencing, content planning, landing-page messaging, and campaign optimization for service-based and institutional audiences where trust, clarity, and timing matter more than flashy marketing. This kind of role needs strategy plus execution: segmentation logic, copy that sounds credible to public-sector buyers, and consistent reporting on opens, clicks, replies, and conversations created. For the first 30 days, I’d also map services to audience pain points so outreach feels relevant from the start. - Which CRM/email platform is your 8,000-contact database currently housed in? - Do you already have past campaign performance data I can review? - Are there priority segments right now among state agencies, schools, universities, or healthcare?

An 8,000-contact database is only valuable if it is segmented well and matched with the right message flow. What stood out here is that you do not need bulk outreach or list building first; you need someone who can shape a real B2B program around audience differences, nurture logic, and public-sector communication standards. I would begin by cleaning the data, defining segment priorities, and building campaign tracks around sector, role, service need, and level of engagement. My background fits work like this because it combines email marketing with content and research, not just campaign sending. I’ve handled structured databases, created nurture emails and campaign calendars, refined website/landing-page messaging, and supported institutional-style marketing where the audience expects professionalism, relevance, and substance before they respond. I’m also comfortable joining client-facing presentations and helping prepare talking points, decks, and follow-up messaging. Your first 30 days should produce structure, not just activity, so I’d focus on a segmentation model, messaging matrix, and initial campaigns that can be measured and improved. - What tools are you using now for CRM, email marketing, and analytics? - Do you already have sector-specific case studies or would those need to be developed from scratch? - Which U.S. business hours would you want covered consistently each week?

The biggest risk in a role like this is treating a mixed public/private database as one audience when each buyer group responds to different pressures, language, and proof points. Your brief makes it clear you need ownership: someone who can study the list, build segmentation, write sharper email sequences, and help move engaged accounts toward real conversations. My approach would be to start with data review, audience clustering, messaging themes by segment, and a practical testing roadmap for campaigns and nurture sequences. I’ve supported B2B marketing work involving email copy, campaign structuring, CRM/database organization, content assets, and performance-based iteration. For institutional and professional audiences, the messaging has to feel informed and credible, especially when speaking to government, education, healthcare, or operations-focused decision-makers. That same thinking also carries into presentations, follow-up emails, and sales-support content. I can also help shape small supporting assets like landing-page copy outlines or case-study angles to strengthen campaign performance. - Is your current database already tagged by organization type, title, or service interest? - Which services are the strongest entry points right now for public-sector outreach? - Do you want the first month focused more on segmentation setup or on launching campaigns quickly?

Hello, Your need is clear: turn 8,000 mixed public- and private-sector prospects into segmented, relevant conversations rather than generic email blasts. I can build a practical B2B Marketing program around audience segmentation, Digital Marketing strategy, B2B Marketing messaging, and Email Marketing execution. I would begin by auditing data quality, engagement history, consent, and available CRM fields; then define priority personas across government, education, healthcare, transportation, and private organizations. From there, I would create campaign calendars, tailored nurture sequences, landing pages, presentations, and measurable CTAs, using performance data to refine subject lines, content, deliverability, and follow-up. My experience with copywriting, WordPress, landing pages, and presentations supports both campaign production and client-facing materials. During the first 30 days, I would deliver a prioritized segmentation plan, messaging framework, initial campaigns, reporting dashboard, and recommendations for engaged-account follow-up. I would welcome a platform-based conversation to review your current CRM, email platform, and first-priority audience, then outline the first campaign sequence and timeline. Which CRM and email platform currently contain the 8,000 prospects, and what engagement, industry, role, and consent fields are available for segmentation? Best regards, Sahil
