I want to see the feasibility of designing a ground penetrating radar for use in a drone. This will involve me hiring several different engineers from different disciples but the most important part is to insure that designing the GPR will be feasible. I want to use it in conjunction with a hovering drone to auto scan large areas to find large artifacts (I'm not looking for small things like a random coin) so that might make it easier to design. I would like for it to be able to scan up to 20 feet into the ground. The key is to make it small and light so a drone can carry it. If there is a better system than GPR for this application please let me know and we can go another route.
