Fix Newsletter Automation -- 3

About myself. I am a single proprietor of a yoga business community. It's been 7 years that this community (namely an eco-system) is active and yet, I still do this by passion because the revenues are almost equal to the expenses. I love the idea of having started something out of nothing. My mom was an entrepreneur. My dad and even my grandfather was an entrepreneur, it is in my blood stream. A little bit of history about the eco-system Since 2008, I maintain this yoga community with a newsletter I publish. I have a youtube channel, an Instagram that tries to make an impact. My main stream revenues comes from the podcasts I do. I've done well over 100 web radio interviews... all in french around the world in person and virtually. My newsletter has more or less one thousand subscribers. In short, because I studied in electronic commerce and worked in ecommerce in the past, I help yoga teachers change the world, one social media event at a time. The CMS I use is interconnected with an CRM. The open source community I feed is categorized in terms of technology a Wiki-Groupware. Their strength: the tracker system. I use a newsletter aggregator to make sure the mail list system is compliant with anti-spam laws. Because it possess functionality where once a person subscribes, automatically this person receives a pre-programmed automated email welcoming them. After their registration, they used to receive one email per month. I want to re-activate this automation process. All is in place: - you will get access to ressources so that you don't need to read pages and pages of manual - you will also get my help and the help of a customer service representative (CSR) (I''m crossing my fingers she will be available to help) I'm using on a need per basis. This CSR will populate the old newsletter and make them fresh, withoug bugs. - you will also be able to ask help to my system administrator if you do indeed need help in this area The mission of this mandate Your mission will be to fix the Automation process. Like the title says. You will be responsible to align the newsletter system that uses RSS feeds with the content already available in the article's CMS. How does the process function? The article functionalities of my CMS is pretty standard, yet it is not a wordpress, joomla or Drupal, etc. It is not a commonly known mail-list publication system. The particularity of it is that we can automate emails sent once the user is registered. The way it works is that once an article is written via the CMS, the article is pushed to the RSS aggregator and sent to registered users. It may be difficult to explain, yet, once you will see the demo (you can ask me about the use case video to get a better idea), you will understand how you will work with me, the CSR and that this automation process will be put back on track. Skills required: excel and feedburner RSS technology. I use SalesForce as a crm. It is not nessary to know about SF, it is a Plus. English is not my first language, yet I'm quite capable to understand human situations, whatever culture and language and avaibility difficulty you may have.
