I need an Excel spreadsheet set up to download some price data from Interactive Brokers TWS platform into Excel using the DDE Socket Bridge API.
The steps I want to follow are:
1. Import symbol list with some basic formating of the codes. This will require Columns A to D.
2. Download Previous close, today's high and latest price data
3. Perform some calculations which I will do
4. Allow setup and forwarding of simple limit orders back to TWS
The calculations will be simple. The data needs to be sorted based on some of my calculations so all VBA code and imported price information code will have to lock to the row rather than the symbol as it moves.
I would expect that there will be some action buttons at the top of the screen to activate a data download, sort my data and calculations and to place orders.
