I need to create the following formula in an excel macro enabled worksheet. Please do not message me if you do not know how to do the programming/coding of visual basic within Excel, or dropbox API integration understanding.
We will upload files directlty to our dropbox account which will be in the format:
Folder -SubFolder1 - [login to view URL], [login to view URL]
-SubFolder2 - [login to view URL], [login to view URL]
-SubFolder3 - [login to view URL], MainImage,jpg
We want to create a formula within excel such as =geturl(Cell Name, Folder). Where "Cell Name" outputs the filename [login to view URL] into an excel macroenabled worksheet that is using Visual Basic. So for example, it will output in Cell A1, [login to view URL] When we use the next cell for example Cell A2 we need it to output [login to view URL] The "Folder" is the name of the folder store in the root of the dropbox account, therefore it must be able to go from Folder to SubFolder to Image1.jpg. If it is difficult, we can standardise all subfolder names to 1,2,3 so that the script can read the folder then access folder 1 then grab Image1.jpg.
The Code must be visual basic as we want to save it in the excel macro sheet and it can be reused. We need to use dropbox api credentials to connect to excel in order to retrieve the files stored in dropbox.
