A fast growing manufacturing company located in Culver City is currently searching for candidates who are enthusiastic to fill in the position of Social Media Specialist and willing to start immediately. Responsibilities: • Content writing • Help develop, implement and manage social media strategy • Works with the Social Media Manager to continually increase loyalty and engagement via Social Media • Help manage and actively follow Social Media and other digital marketing methods and integrate new ideas and methods into the company’s approaches • Assist in developing creative content that will increase engagement and interaction • Interact with consumers in real time on various social media platforms • Assist with the creation of content for various social networking sites • Participate in the development of strategies designed to meet company goals • Stay abreast of and report on trends and best practices Qualification: • Proficient with Social Media software tools and applications, proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with Photoshop or graphic design, Google Docs and with photographic eye is a plus • Passion for, and understanding of, leading and emerging social media platforms and analytics • Should have social media business experience with established platforms including: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vine, LinkedIn and Google+ • Must have a deep knowledge of social media strategies and understanding of how social media networks can be used to support business goals • Highly effective internal and external communicator with exceptional oral skills, strong writing and presentation skills and attention to details • Understanding of how to write/communicate on each social platform • Responsible, self-motivated team player, proactive, motivated with an outgoing personality and “can-do” attitude and with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Newly Graduates are encouraged to apply.
