My name is Andrey. I am experienced FreeBSD/Linux system administrator. Usually 404 Error means, that there is no such page. If you are using redirects at your configuration, and there is some mistake in them, this also can produce 404 Error. If there is no redirects and file is really missing, it can be recovered from backup (do you have backups of your site?). Anyway, conclusions about reason of problem can be made after server setup and site files review. Thanks.
