Hi, I need a reaction time test to put on a website. A static scene is interrupted with a picture that is shown on the screen. When the screen changes, a person must react asap. When an impulse is presented, time starts to run and as soon as the person presses a button, the time stops. The elapsed time is measured. Frankly, I do not know which program language would be appropriate for this test, please lt me know your opinion. Hi, For sure this must be a JavaScript app. You also must be aware that time accuracy of operation system is around 10-15 ms and the time accuracy of some browsers can be also around 15 ms. So, the possible time accuracy is around 30 ms. Contact, please, to start cooperation.

I have a good idea of how to implement this, but it's involved and I don't want to write it all here. I'd use PHP as that is based for web-based content. I have a computer engineering degree from CMU and 20 years experience and I've developed hundreds of systems, nearly all successfully. This app is pretty simple, so I don't expect any problems.

New Zealand based, and English speaking web developer. The site could be done multiple ways, either custom or wordpress, so it won't be an issue to get it done quickly. It's a simple matter to code in a timer to measure the length of reaction time and report back. A simple site would probably be best due to needing to reduce latency. Thank you Ben Perry
