Inject div via javascript using Google Tag Manager

Warning: I do not know if this is possible. Our front-end devs do not have time available to execute a requirement from our Marketing department, so I'm relying on the Freelancer.com community to help! Our signup page has a high drop off rate, and we would like to test adding a summary of the product to understand if that increases conversion. We want to add to our signup page a section that gives a summary of what the customer is signing up to. As said before, our devs can't do it right now, but we do have Google Tag Manager installed, which should allow us to add custom html. Remember: it needs to work on desktop and mobile, and it must be something we can inject via Google Tag Manager.
