zoo milestone -Coding event page

For this milestone you must have the following completed in all three views - phone, tablet, and desktop:

Special events page: This page will be done in a card view format. It will show 6 events for the month, each event will link to a separate page with details of the event.

You will need to have 3 of the event pages completed.

Submission

Turn in a .zip file with all necessary files for milestone

All styling of your website must be done with CSS. All CSS is required to be in external style sheets.

Using any of the following will result in a grade of ZERO for the entire project.

Name of zoo and logo (create new logo, create a name): These must be on every page including the [login to view URL] page

Index page: This page contains lots of information. You can lay out this page in any format that you choose but it must have the logo and the navigation menu. It cannot just be a list on the page. The page will contain the following:

Location of the zoo

Contact information

Hours of operation

Dates of operation

Description of the zoo

Prices

Special events page: This page will be done in a card view format. It will show 6 events for the month, each event will link to a separate page with details of the event.

Map page: This page will be a jpg map of the zoo. Using HTML you will divide the map into areas that the user can visit. This concept is called using HOT SPOTS (you will have to research how this is done).

Online catalog page: This page is going to allow user to see items the zoo is going to sell. You must offer 5 items to sell.

Restaurant page: There are 2 restaurants in this zoo. You will create a single web page layout for each restaurant. Below the following requirements for each separate restaurant.

Registration page: This page lets users sign-up to get the zoo newsletter. Has the following requirements:

Includes a form asking for a first name and e-mail address.

All fields in the form are required

Submitting must take the user to a Thank you page.

Animal worlds: You must build two animal worlds. Each animal world will have a minimum of 3 animals; pictures can be clip art or photographs. You must have at least 3 images per animal (2 words each with 3 animals, 3 images per animal). You will be using a process called lightbox, here is a link to research how it is done: How to Create a Lightbox (Links to an external site.)

Submission Requirements

You will turn in a .zip file that contains all your .html files and main.css.

Use media queries within your CSS file to change the view between the phone, tablet, and desktop view.

YOU MUST CODE THIS WITH FLEXBOX OR CSS grid

This website must be coded in as a responsive website. That means there will be a phone view, a tablet view, and desktop view. YOU may use your own breakpoints for these different devices.
