We are currently working on an iOS app and all that remains is to build the messenger. Our previous freelancer tried to shorcut by using a prebuilt library but it does not work. We need someone who specialises in Swift and [login to view URL] to build our messenger and connect it to our mongoDB database.
The messenger is fully functional on our web software, we just need it to be usable in our iOS app. The designs are done, the API is connected, we just need the messenger built properly so that it works with our current functionality.
The messenger is built for team communication and has two standard functions;
- Group chat rooms
- Direct messaging to other users
It does not allow users to share images, video or audio within the messenger. It is strictly text only. It does, however, allow users to search for their 'pages' (specific to our software) and share it to the chat. It is a simple function and I can demonstrate upon request.
The only other functions that the messenger needs is the ability to push notifications for new messages, as well as display in chat when a user is typing a message.
