I am looking for a developer who is proficient in JavaScript and has experience with basic math code. The project involves calculating loan interest for a basic web browser-based user interface. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of math calculations, as well as experience in JavaScript programming.
I already have a web page, and it already calculates loan interest using javascript and some jquery. So, I do NOT need any work on the interface, CSS etc., and I do NOT need the code to be written from scratch. What I need is somebody to tweak the existing code to calculate the interest in a particular way.
I can provide a table of sample loan calculations showing the end results that the code needs to achieve, I just need somebody proficient in javascript to amend the calculations to get the same results. I CANNOT provide the code that produced the sample loan calculations - but I need somebody to emulate the calculation precisely. I could write it myself in other languages, but I don't do javascript and I need it to be done in javascript.
Finally, in terms of detail, most loan calculations will produce an equal amount of repayments based on the APR, the sample loans I need to emulate produces a payment schedule where the final payment is lower, calculated on a reducing balance basis. If this doesn't make sense to you, please DO NOT submit a bid. This is as much detail as I have, and all I can provide is the current javascript code that needs amending and the sample loans that need to be replicated in code.
